J. Blake Tate

Attorney

J. Blake Tate was born and raised in Whitwell, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. When he graduated, Mr. Tate immediately pursued his passion of assisting people as an attorney. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2019 and became a licensed Alabama attorney shortly after graduating. He has worked on criminal defense cases in Scottsboro, Alabama after acquiring his license. He has represented clients as an Assistant Public Defense Attorney at the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office in 2021. Shortly after, Mr. Tate would join the Hazzard Law Firm team to continue his passion of assisting people. When Mr. Tate is not in court or representing clients, he enjoys running 5k races and listening to vinyl records on his record player at home.
